About Us

We are a community-based non-profit organization aiming exclusively to facilitate the integration of African immigrant and refugee communities into their new home here in Oregon. We do this through social, moral and material support. We also promote understanding, support, and integration between African Americans and Africans throughout the diaspora. Since its inception in 2012, we have organized various community events to help with community building and organizing. While most of our work is focused in Oregon, we also have projects that we work on outside of the United States specifically in Africa.

NAFFA is organized exclusively as a nonprofit charitable organization created on January 22th, 2016 in Portland, Oregon.
